Any help here would be great. I am going to install Karata's 4" open primary with the larger piranha (Sr.) 26 plate clutch, this will need a longer clutch rod.

Where can i get one or who can mod mine?

If you cant get a used rod you can get the rod at Home Depot or any hardware store. Its not a big deal if you cant get a old rod its just one weld instead of two... hope this helps ya out...

You might want to let everyone know what transimission you have?

LSD, RSD, OD6 or DD6. Any offset that has to be compensated for. If you updated your profile to show what yr and model you have........

Contacting Baker is your best bet.

don't know what home depot you go to but it's kinda doubtful you'll find a clutch rod for a big dog there.

specific diameter, specific length, specific radius on each end, case hardened. he's not talking about the shifter linkage, i don't think.

Raywood i guess it would help if you had that info, I'll update my profile but it's a 2009 BDM Ridgeback, the rest should be a given i think.

Ok then, you have a DD6 RSD. You should contact Baker for the info you need. They are good people and will help you all you need.

I dont think i said they sell clutch rod there, all he needs is a 1" piece of the same size rod to weld in to his original clutch rod... and they sell all sorts of rod sizes there... Im sure of that... I installed one and thats what you need to do... Jim from Karata will tell you the same thing... Woodbutcher is that what you needed to do when you installed yours?

just trying to speak from logic. i don't have a belt drive so maybe i'm just speakin' out of my ass. another case of "better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and be proven one". i bow to jim's knowledge.

Ill vouch for Sowtimes opinion as I bought his 4 in karata belt drive and didnt understand either till I had it in my hand the clutch is wider than the standard baker so you buy a a piece of eith 3/16 or 1/4 rod cut the actuator rod weld in a piece to get correct additional length and gring down welds to proper diameter and that can be obtained a Home Depot or any hardwae store
