My wife watched that video and she confirms that I have done a wheelie to that same extent numerous times. My Ridgeback with the Bandit clutch and the new cobra rear tire running 28-30 lbs of air will EASILY power first gear up and shifting into second comes up fairly easy as well without any abuse. My old Venom tire would just break loose and spin if I tried to pull the front end up, but since I installed the cobra tire, it is very difficult to break it loose. Actually if I take off from a stop and spin the tire just slightly, almost always if I am in the throttle hard going into second it usually catches me off guard and the front end coming up quite high like in that video.

The important thing is for the wheelie to also power out of it, as to not slam down from just letting off the throttle. Letting it just slam down on a chopper will for sure prematurely wear out the forks.

She refuses to go out with me and video me pulling wheelies and I catch shit everytime I do it around her.:D

I have plans soon to go out with one of my buddies and get some video or pics.

I want to get a 8x10 framed of my bike with the front end in the air.

I wish I had more money.
There was once a kid that has a pitbull here in town that could stand his shit up in third gear. I posted a short video of it some time ago but I can't remember where. Jake might know where it is.
Found it. That search thing is great.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well there was a young man from the St. louis area that had been on here at one time talking about himself doing wheelies on his hotrod pitbull. He never produced a video. I found it. He runs with a group calling themselves the streetfighterz. This is off of there fifth dvd called street cred. I went ot there myspace and found a short clip of him doing a burn out and the tailend of a wheelie. MySpace.com - Streetfighterz - 100 - Male - SAINT LOUIS, MISSOURI - Streetfighterz | MySpace - myspace.com/streetfighterz
If you scroll down the page and start the third video down his 15 secs. start at around the 1:53 spot in the video.
Enjoy!

phatchopper300

I just wanta ride
the one riding the chopper is phatchopper300's favorite person, george mingledorff of Low Country Customs in garden city, ga. just outside savannah. don't think i would want to buy that bike after he came down from that high. front end might just be fucked!:angry:
Hey woodbutcher thanks for the  the reminder. I did talk with George two days ago and again he was very upset that I had left an email stating he would not call me back on the tanny issue. Well then he called me from his cell and we talked:argue: and the best he could do was offer me a warranty at cost for 2 years. I told him I was just as pissed that I had only put 300 miles on a down bike. Well I am sending the tranny to bigdogtech01 the first of the year. Its all good you get back what you give out. Things will work out for me.

I've pulled the front wheel a few times when it's hot out, otherwise the rear just spins.

Have had my front wheel come off the ground twice, neither was intentional :spank: Once going into second... another, I dropped to third with a crack of the throttle... Have to be honest.... scared the shit outta me :D
