i'm runnin big dogs air ride and like it alot.looking for suggesstions on air ride kits and trick installs im 265 6'3" ok for short rides but when we load up for a trip 7-10 days bag adds a lot of weight so thinking an adjustable suspension would be the answer.
At your size and if you are loading down your bike you may want to think about having your shocks re-worked. Being an 04 your shocks may have lost all there oil. Your shocks are made by Works Performance and for a small amount they can re-build them to YOUR specifications.looking for suggesstions on air ride kits and trick installs im 265 6'3" ok for short rides but when we load up for a trip 7-10 days bag adds a lot of weight so thinking an adjustable suspension would be the answer.

It's controlled from your high low beam switch before you crank the bike up. Don’t remember exactly how, PurpleDog has it on his.the dog i am putting back together has a big dog air ride setup and i was wondering how it works? is it self leveling or is there a switch somewhere?
I asked the dealer when I purchased mine and he told me between 500-600#. I bottomed out once on a man hole cover with my wife on the back, when I got home I looked at the adjustment and they were not equal. So I adjusted both to the same lenght and to their max. The fender does sit high on the tire without anybody on it.I weigh250lb. my wife is 120lb. I feel the shocks bottom out on bad bumps on some roads in Pa.
Does anyone know what the shocks are rated for?
