I pushed back from the garage, hit the starter, the motor started but the starter stayed running.
I hit the key and the stop button on the bar and the engine kept running so did the starter!
so i dropped it in gear and released the clutch, held the brake and the engine died but when I pulled the clutch in the starter was still going.
So I wanted to get off and get a rubber hammer and smack the starter (seen cars do this many times) but i can't get the fucking thing in neutral!!!!! So there I sit scratching my ass looking around for something to pull off but it was hard to see the starting wiring while holding the clutch. So all I can think about is a electrical fire because the battery is a good one, when I decided to turn the ignition back on and the run switch on the bar and let the engine start,
It turned loose, It is probably the starter contacts but what pisses me off is not being able to get that bitch in neutral.
I am going to fix that fucking problem if it kills me. Some say it is normal but not only is it aggravating buy it is very dangerous. What a design flaw.
I changed to ATF but have only driven it about 20 miles since the change and it is better but I want to be able to put it in neutral any time I want
