I'd almost disagree,,, but i can't,,,, this is my 1st V-twin, so i'm talking out of my ass. (like normal) However, a Mikuni carb is SOOOoooo simple to tune. I ran Mikuni carbs on my drag bikes,, and race sleds.
I almost bought 1 for the DAWG,,, but i wanted to learn the S&S, so i'm sticking with that for now. I'll learn it,, then try something else maybe PSI, then try a Mikuni.
Throttle response, roll-on transition, and over all acceleration from a Mikuni is awesome. I never found anything better,, on those high-strung 2-strokes,, or those ground pounding 9 sec 1/4 milers.
I hope my TAZ,,, works out nice,, it's a sexy looking carb. I just need some wheels :bang:
I heard there a great carb but you need a good tuner to tune it. The other carbs are easier to tune
