Mikuni anyone?

Sorry guy's, I tried to delete it cause I didn't want to steal Sul's thunder on the PSI thread. I was wondering if anyone had tried the 46 Mikuni, and how it worked. This is my first G, and I know there has to be something better.

From the looks of it so far, the PSI is gonna be the top dog. I'm thinkin I'll probably wind up forkin over the cash for one. I put a Mikuni 42 on my softail and it was a big difference. But anything is better than the CV.

I'd almost disagree,,, but i can't,,,, this is my 1st V-twin, so i'm talking out of my ass. (like normal) However, a Mikuni carb is SOOOoooo simple to tune. I ran Mikuni carbs on my drag bikes,, and race sleds.
I almost bought 1 for the DAWG,,, but i wanted to learn the S&S, so i'm sticking with that for now. I'll learn it,, then try something else maybe PSI, then try a Mikuni.
Throttle response, roll-on transition, and over all acceleration from a Mikuni is awesome. I never found anything better,, on those high-strung 2-strokes,, or those ground pounding 9 sec 1/4 milers.
I hope my TAZ,,, works out nice,, it's a sexy looking carb. I just need some wheels :bang:

I heard there a great carb but you need a good tuner to tune it. The other carbs are easier to tune
