Replacement Tires and Belt for K9

Energy One
Okay, I'm burned out on doing searches, and not finding what I'm looking for. So, please forgive me for posting this question. But.......I need to get replacement Avon tires for my 2007 K9, along with a replacement belt drive.

1) Who has the best prices on the Avon tires for our Big Dogs?

2) Belt - This is the first time I've had to replace one. What brand/size/specs do I need, and where would you recommend I buy it?

Thanks in advance for your help. :2thumbs:

If your belt is worn then you may find that your sprocket is worn also. Replacing the belt without a new sprocket will just wear out your new belt.

How many miles do you have on it?

That is the normal way to ship tires. For anything.

Ray... I heard that, that wasn't true with the belt & PULLEYS. Being the belt is a great deal softer than the hardend chrome pulleys, there is no problem just replacing the belt.

Please, somebody correct me if I'm wrong...

Pulley will wear out after time but have not seen one yet, but I also have not seen a BDM with more than 35k on it, looks like Ray has a whole lot more than that:eek:. Sounds like the guy above may have broke his from abuse or from a stone or something.
Find yourself a "GATES" brand belt if you don't want to buy from BDM.

Talking with Omaha it was indeed a stone or something took a large chunck out of his belt so reason for replacing.

The reason I asked about the miles is cause with his yr model it's not uncommon for the teflon coated pulley's to wear. The teflon was introduced in 05 to control belt squeeling.

Mine was replaced at about 38,000 miles along with the belt and now have about the same amount on the latest one but haven't had the squeeling issues I had with the first pulley which could have been related to alignment issues also.

Yeah his premature repalcement is due to debris... like seat makers I did last year.

But I'm basically right. You really shouldn't have to replace the pulleys with the belt. Unless you are having some issue with the said pulleys.
