See I learned something else. I didn't even know this 107 S&S had compression releases. I am used to seeing the little button looking ones near the spark plugs on like the ultima motors etc. How do they work on our bikes? Are they automatic?

yep, automatic, electronic solenoid.

they ARE automatic, but usually i will push them down just to make sure i don't drag the battery down when cranking. and make sure you keep the dog a battery tender !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey woodbutcher, when you push yours in, and then crank the beast up, do the releases pop up automatically? Basically I am wondering if you they can be used manually as well as with the factory solenoid. Ok, now I will leave you guys alone I know I am :loony:
