I seem to see lots of unbiased opinions on that site with all models and makes.
If you have a hard on with BD then stand up and state it. Then we can help you get it fixed and get you on the road. Many on here have 10 of thousands of miles on these things without problems. Unlike my ole Harley that I had!!!!

:flag:

no hard on for bdm. i had one and just think that other folks thinking of buying one has the right to know what others have experienced. in fact i bought mine from a dude named nuke dog that was on the older site you all had.

There are TONS of threads within this forum that detail problems that many folks have had. The difference is those threads are specific, and as such many of those folks have been helped with their issues. :2thumbs:

Your threads on the other hand , are not specific. :job:

Did I read correctly mike that you HAD a Big Dog, meaning that you no longer have one?

It amazes me as to what people think a good deal is. Hmmmm a bike that was prob around 30k new, 700 miles and they dont think 16,999 is a good deal. WTF how about 12,999 or 6,999 is that cheap enough for ya. How about free. Blame it on the economy. Thats why I am not selling mine, responses like hey will you take less, thats alot of money in this economy, the bikes dont have the value they used to. Waaaa fuckin waaaaa go buy a new one then for 35k, they have seemed to hold their value. Then you other idiots who have nothing better to do with their time than come on a big dog site, dont own a big dog and prob never have, claim to own 9 other bikes and bitch about how big dogs are pieces of shit. Shut the fuck up.

yes i had a 05 chopper
So given that you HAD one (that you did not get new, but you picked up from someone else, so you inherited someone elses problems) and do not have one any longer, it seems that perhaps you have just come here to bitch, whine, and talk shit on our favorite brand of motorcycle.

Does that sum it up correctly or have I missed something here?

guys I just placed this on here in case someone might want to take a closer look at it. I wasn't wanting another thread about who has the better bike. as for mike weimer, thanks for being negative. from a previous poll, the majority of us would buy another dog if the chance came around. so if you don't like the way the majority of us around here think, as Tom petty says, don't come round here no more.

i just think if other folks are in the market for a bdm and due their research they will find this site and i think they have the right to know before they buy. if i stepped on anyones toes so it be.

Folks have a right to be informed, but I have to ask, WHAT makes you such an authority to call a BDM 2006 K-9 a "piece of junk"?

Mike "Whiner" (misspelling intentional), I think you sir are way out of line here.

There are a lot of Big Dog owners on here who are proud and satisfied owners. Many have had thousands of trouble-free miles. Sure some have had issues with their bikes. Many of those who have had issues have seen BDM go above and beyond what was required on the warranty to correct the issue. Some have dealt with the issues themselves with their own mechanical skills.

AND a FEW have JUST WHINED like you!

This guy clearly doesn't know anything how big Dog customer service operates. If he did , he would still have the 05 Chopper and riding it proudly. I have had three big Dogs starting with the 05 chopper. Would buy a fourth
