So I'm working on this '03 Pitbull (with a manual, btw). No brake lights at the "integrated" turn signals. I've isolated the "return/output" side of both the front & rear brake switches in the hopes of jumping those brake "signals" directly to the rear turn signals independent of the EHC. I've done just that and I can now have brake lighting at/in the turn signals but I'm also getting some sort of "back feed" that is causing both turn signals to flash when either (L or R) button is pressed. Thoughts? TK.

Don't know what kind of flashing your referring to but know that the 03's had flashing tail lights. When you hit the brake they would flash 3 times or something like that then go on solid. Could be your seeing this with the way you wired it up.
BDM stopped using the flashing taillights due to some state laws from what I heard.

Turn signals work just fine........They are not receiving the proper signal from the EHC that activates the lights via the front & rear brake light switches. I was hoping that by removing the 2 "output" or downhill side wires from the EHC itself and directing that power/signal to the turn signals would solve the problem. It did actually, I now have a brake light at the turn signals however I'm experiencing some sort of "feedback" that causes the both "turn" signals elements to flash. TK.

I just bought the Wire Plus for my wife's '03 Mastiff. Had very similar issues with tail lights, brake lights and timer on the turn signals. Screw all that. :job: :job:The Wire Plus for the '03 is plug and play. The only wiring you have to do is for the indicator lights on the dash. Everything else just plugs into the same plugs that your ehc uses, but no more EHC! :whoop::whoop::whoop:

OK Jake. That will be $27.95 for advertising fees! :D:eek::D

Thread,
If I'm understanding you correctly. The flashing is probably the internal auto circuit breakers of the EHC tripping then resetting until it trips again. Sorry, but you can't bypass EHC inputs directly to output wiring, it overloads the inputs circuits. They are not intended to produce enough current to carry that much load. Sorry
