IT'S ALIVE!!!! I finally got around to fixing the "no spark". Thanks to everyone who helped me diagnose it. It was the cam sensor. Tampa BD was kind enough to run the history of my bike and I have a new 2006 EHC so that was a little bit of a relief. Although most said look for a crack in the sensor potting material I think mine exploded. The stink of burnt electrical was nauseating! Cleaned everything up, changed the sensor, and fired right up. All is well now and I'm right with the universe!!!

That's one for the books! Look for the obvious first!

AMEN to that! I'm glad I did all this research etc. I learned a lot. But all I really had to do was take the cover off. One other bonehead move I did was forget to scribe the timing marks into the cam cover where the slot is. Luckily I remembered how to static time from the Harleys so it was easy to set it to the flywheel mark T:F. Then I adjusted the air/fuel, dialed in the accelerator pump, and test rode the beast. I inadvertently pulled the wheel maybe 6" off the ground giving it full throttle. These bikes are torque monsters!!!:whoop::cheers::2thumbs:

FREEDOM!!!
Just gutted the ehc out of my buddys rewired it with the wiring kit from Low Down Chop Shop. had pretty much the same problem you are having didn't smell any burning. As soon as I was finished turned on the new key supplied with the kit all lights worked and the bike fired right over. Bike is a 2004 Chopper there wiill be no more manual riding of this bike. Happy as hell with the new wiring kit.:)
It's inevitable I'll be doing the same thing for the sake of reliability. The electronics are the achilles heal of these bikes from all that I've read. No big deal!!! Small price to pay.
