Damn fine job MudSlinger!

Gotta like a man that can fab his own stuff-and it works!

Thanks brother. Its just a little thing but a must have here in MI.
Changing it to a set screw was the natural way to go. I saw they had nobs you could buy but the adjustment would go back down on it's own. This works real well. If some one has changed out there filter setup. Just a spacer a nut and a bolt (cut to fit properly with a grinder).
Gets freeking cold.

Most of the aftermarkets are pull n twist... besides, you don't want to hold it up ANY longer than needed.

Yup - mine pulls up with a twist and locks into place - but I never use it at all.

I thought you'd foul plugs riding around with that on. How cold is too cold to ride? Is there a magic #? I am still waiting on mine to get here from the US. Its in the 20's most days here now. And I still ride as I don't own a car (on purpose).

I lived in Michigan until two years ago and I never left my enricher on for more than about 10-20 seconds, just time enough to get some heat in the cylinders.

Never ride with the enricher open.

Exactly... seconds with it on...

Hey mud... consider carefully riding in the winter, even if its 60 degrees out. You don't want that salt dust on your dog... it will F up your billet! Just something to consider different from HD to BD

Not to mention cages aren't expecting bikes to be out right now. Your guard always has to be up, but really has to be up right now. I'm the same way....if it hits mid to high 50's and sunny I at least take it for a little spin.

Oh, I am tracking now. I had a sporty that I had to leave the enrichener on in the winter. Little did I know my mechanic at the time sucked.
