Just make sure you get the project number off the neck and check with BDM to see what’s been done. Also make sure all the recalls and service up dates are up to date!!!:2thumbs:

You and download the S&S manual from their site and review recommended maintenance. If you are looking at a bike with lots of miles on it I would in addition to the above recommendation probably request a copy of the ignition download.
I've posted mine here many times to give everyone an idea of what it looks like and what it tells you. It will show you how the motor has been run. Let me see if I can find it again and I will post it here for you.

That is pretty cool. I assume that comes from the EHC, and if you don't have one you won't be able to see that.

BTW, what's the story behind the 6300-6400 rpms for four seconds? :2thumbs::cheers::2thumbs:

This info is read off the Thunderheart ignition module not the EHC.

Don't know about the various hi rpm readings. I'm pretty easy with my motor as you can tell from the readout. Could be from several dyno's I've had done. I always tell them to shut it down at 5500 but hard to do when you are reading the graph and running the dyno I guess.

Ah, ok.

Not to hijack the thread, but where did you find the 06 heads? I've got an 05 and I was thinking about changing the cam this winter and upgrading the heads.
