I Have a set a Miami Ultra slashed and was wondering were I could get a 2 1/2 baffle for them. Love the looks, hate the sound. They a very gergerely if that is a real word. Loud does not bother me at all but i want them to sound more crisp. Any help of suggestions would be great.

Are you looking for a louder pipe, I have the Street Walker R G Geez on mine and my neighbors hate me :lol::lol:. You can take yours out and cut them in half, that will give you deeper and louder sound.

Are you sure they are 2 1/2" pipes? That's kind of odd for exhasut pipes. Usually you see 2 1/4" or less. Stainless Creations uses 2 3/8" pipes. He installed the Thunder monster baffles in mine but he has to weld a pipe over it then lathe it down to the proper size as there largest baffle is 2 1/4" OD.

You could always install the ole reliable washer baffle in it if you just want some more back pressure.

They are 2 1/2. Not to worried about back pressure just the sound. From what I hear the washer trick doesnt change the sound.

it does actually change the sound ,i did it last nite and then totally removed them cause i just wasnt that pleased,my washers could have been a bit too big,i think if i would make the washers have a smaller diameter it would work, but it does truelly baffle the pipes...some,especially upon deceleration.....

Easy fix - I was running some Trotta 2 1/2 open exhaust - same thing - Just get some baffles off of ebay or anywhere - 2 1/2 are kind of hard to find, but they are out there, I used 2 1/4 or 2... don't remember but believe me, any baffle will make it quiter. I used a 4 inch long baffle, then kept cutting the length shorter until I got the sound I wanted.

Remember - If the pipes are not even (the pipe going to the front cyc is usually longer), then use a shorter baffle on the pipe going to the front. This keeps equal back pressure to both pipes.

so you can use a smaller diameter baffle? I would think that they would rattle around a bit if they were not snug.

I am thinking about a set of the Ultra Slashed pipes for my '08 Ridgeback....wondering if anyone knows if there will be any mounting issues, due to the 330 tire and the transmission sticking out 1 1/2 further than on other BDMs...Also, how well will these pipes hold up as for as bluing.....

I had a set of these on my bike, they are free floating, no brackets to bolt them anywhere other than the exhaust studs and a bolt between the two pipes. They are loud as F*ck and if you make right hand turns YOU WILL drag the ever living crap out of them. I have a couple of pics up from behind with a video showing just how far out past the foot peg they stick out. Sharp points like to eat pants legs and chaps. They are sick looking but for the riding i do, wasnt for me. Not tryin to steer you away from them just tryin to inform you.

You can search "paychecks bark is a little louder" and it will show you some pics of the pipes and video

cafe i dont deny they were a sweet set of pipes or that maybe it was my riding style, maybe the difference in tire width. I have a few photos of mine and man they were some kinda tore up on the bottom. Hey I gave them to a member on here, he had a ridgeback ( ithink) chihuasbigdog might shoot him a pm and see if he had any issues:cheers:

I have a set of these pipes and their customer service sucks.
I've been trying to get something done for 8 months now.
I paid for ceramic coating on the inside and the pipes turned bad the first week
