i read in here somewhere that some people have had the coating inside the gas tank was peeling up and giving problems to the carb. BDM is going to fix . Just wondering if BDM is going to send a new tank or repair my tank..

Hey, while you are at Lowe's picking up some chrome cleaner, they have a flexible shaft about 3 ft long that has a grabber on the end of it. The end you hold has a plunger and when you push it, 4 small "fingers" of wire open and expand. Place it near what you want to extract and when you let go of the plunger, the fingers contract and will grab anything that is close. The liner is mostly flexible and can be pulled through without having to break it. Some pieces had to be broken. I just used a pair of needle nose pliers and grabbed the piece and pulled till it broke, then grabbed the rest. I'll post a "how to" this weekend on re-lining your tank. I took all the pics but just haven't put it all together. Stay tuned for more!!!I have the same thing on my '06 Pitt. What did you guys do to get all the old stuff out before relining?
