Well we will see what #'s she will be putting out on Monday down at Freedom Cycles in Delaware. The weather will be 85 with scattered T-Storms so it won't be the best of air to work with but I wanted to see what the bike is putting out before I eventually get the Head's done this winter. I'm guessing around 110 HP 120 TQ. with the mods I have now. What do you guys think???

RP Geez Street Walker Exhaust 2 into 1

I know watch a dog on the dyno loose power when the timing was set on a steeper advance. I think it's the lack of compression.

Marv is probably right. Those mods aren't much for performence. At least the pipes are 2:1. Stock Super G?

You'll never get 110 hp out of a 117cc. :D:D

Stock 05 I'll guess 95/104 That's what mine got. :2thumbs:

I agree with Ray, I layed down 110 hp and 118 tq but I have the S&S 600 cam.
Have not installed the ThunderHeart ignition yet.

I was thinking about a upgrade cam to my (internally stock) 2005 117 ci. I got a recommendation straight from S & S. They say go with the 585 cam. How do you like the 600 for you?

thx

I wish I had more money.
Are we getting excited yet. No matter what don't be bummed or let down. It is a starting reference.

Dead Stroke, sorry it took so long.

I love the 600 cam but it is the only one I have run besides the stocker.
Dont know the specs of the 585 but if S&S recommended it im sure it would be a good
one.

Almost any cam is going to wake up an 05 117 better than the stock one!

My 2 cents is adding the .600 cam is a waste if you don't fix the rest of the motor. Remember the 05 came out by BDM with smaller valves and taller barrels. So, until you open up the heads and shave the barrels to bring the compression to S&S specs you are still running a restricted motor.

I agree Ray, thats the next thing I am going to do.

I will say the cam is a great uprade with a G carb for not alot of $$$ or time.

I dont know what the 05's put out stock but 110 hp was worth the small amount of money I spent on it.
