Will be visiting Phoenix, AZ come Saturday (through Tues) and looking to see what shops are the best to see. I saw that there is a Victory/Big Dog in Phoenix and Hacienda Customs in Scottsdale. Anyone familiar with these or any other shops worth taking in?

Hacienda probably has the best selection and is the largest.

Victory/Big Dog in Phoenix is a Joke.

There is a Victory/Big Dog in Mesa which is right across the street from Chesters HD and their new Indian Dealership

Are you coming here for busines, Family or just a vacation?

It's hot as hell here right now

Hacienda Customs is where I got my 05 Ridgeback ... too bad they sold the building that was next to the Hacienda Harley in Scottsdale. There is a Victory/BigDog (BigDog service ... haven't seen any on the floor yet...great service) shop in Prescott if you are coming up north. Come up to Cliff Castle Casino at the Gallery Restaurant in Camp Verde ... I'm a supervisor there. I'll be there Saturday and Sunday of this week. If you come up that far visit Sedona and up Oak Creek Canyon it's a great ride and then up to Flagstaff then the Grand Canyon. Ride safe ... :whoop::D:flag:

The missus is out there for business, but for me it will be all pleasure. I have been to AZ a number of times and love the state. Have been to the canyon a few times, Sedona, Jerome, Prescott, Flagstaff etc.

Looking forward to some hot weather and down time.

get up in the morning early, head up from Mesa on the old Bush Hwy through the red rocks to hwy87 to Payson (turn right for a quick stop at Jake's Corners Bar at the road to Roosevelt about ten miles shy of Payson ...about a three mile detour). Then back on 87 through Payson. Turn right on 260 and climb the rim to Show Low. Turn south and ride down the canyon to Globe and back into Mesa from the east late in the day when it cools off. You will spend all day above 4000 feet, 15 to 20 degrees cooler and see some awesome territory,

Get up to Jerome if you can, cool spot. Nice biker bar in Cave Creek also, can't remember the name right now.

The bar in Cave Creek is called the "Hideaway Tap". But probably not too many people there cause right now it's HOT ASS HELL!!! Any local is inside, refusing to exit their climate controled castle!! I just talked to family back in Illinois and they were complaining that it's 60 and windy!!!!! I would kiss the Pope's ring for 60 right now, instead of nearly double that!!!! Me feet were sticking to the asphault this morning!! Drove on the freeway at 9 am and it read 112!!!!!!!!

I remember that weather all to good. Hell to ride in it. Like a blast furnace. I used to soak my face mask when I stopped for gas and it would be dry in 2 minutes in that weather.

Looking forward to the 100 plus temps. for me it can't get too hot, only too cold. Back in the Corps in the early 70's, overseas in the jungle, I was thriving because it was hot, loved it. But, I do plan on heading north to Flagstaff first thing Sunday morning. Some of my retired buddies live in Anthem and also on Pleasant Lake in Peoria. Will be staying with them for a few days.

Wish I had my bike, but I'll do just fine in the car, with A/C turned on.
