BDM does monitor this site and does warranty the bikes for 2 years. They are aware of any issues that people might have. There's plenty of a Bitchfest for them to read about on this forum.

Here is a list of what my bike has had go wrong since new in 2003.

Tires needed replacing after 10,000 miles.
Oil had to be changed a few times
Had to adjust the clutch
Damn thing keeps using gas

Sorry to be a wise ass, but its post like this that make it sound like every dog has a problem. That totally isn't the case from what I've seen up here. I feel for the few that had issues with new bikes, but for the most part, these are great bikes. I've had friends with new harley's that totally sucked ass, and the dealer was not too kind to them, when it was clearly Harleys fault. So its not just Big Dog.

These bikes are like a high performance sports car, and they need to be touched all the time. Do I have to tighten stuff up, yes. But so far, my bike has been a dream from when the first owner bought it in 2003 and put 10,000 miles on it, only having to do routine maintenance to it. I've got almost 3,000 on the same bike, and have only adjusted the clutch and put gas in it so far. Not bad for a custom bike.

Best news is, guys up here are excellent in helping you get your Dog up and running if you do have an issue.

Many of these items are not BDM parts. I've got a family member with a new 150,000$ motor home that has had alot more problems than any 30,000$ bike. No trouble with my bike at all. Go BDM!

I don't sell them. I'm one of the guys who rides them to work every day. Funny how I grew up with dirt bikes riding motocross working on my bikes, and I go over my bike now just like I did back then, and I have no issues. Motorcycles are not "Plug and Play" I dont care how much they cost you. Its a fact, you have to put air in the tires every once in a while, change the oil, and sometimes adjust stuff to keep them running. Thats not Big Dogs fault, its the owners fault.

Am I the only one who remembers seeing Harleys broken down on the side of the road "ALL THE TIME" in the 60s through the 1980s. It was a fact of life, if you wanted to ride a v-twin, it came with the territory. You wrench it, or you don't ride. Why people think they shouldn't have to maintain them is beyond me.

I know your fairly new here so I'll go easy on ya, "DONT START BULLSHIT THREADS" especially when you just joined up. If you dont like your bike then sell it and buy a Honda, otherwise shut the fuck up and stop bashing BDM.:job::down:

I'm game, and I don't sell BDM.
2000 Bulldog with 12,000 miles
2-tires
1-starter
Some oil and gas. Rumor has it those HD's require an oil change or two also and gas. That's crazy!

If it was Ray's, it would have 130,000 miles by now.

Oh yea, my key has a tendency to want to fall out, I clip it to the plug wire. Never lost!
