I kept my windshield off my 02 softail HD. my BDM has same forks and width. ( harley's best detahable no leave behind hardware with the 4 chrome hand lever clamps. The windshield mounts to the fork tubes with elegant die-cast lever-release clamps, so the windshield does not require any "leave-behind" docking hardware. You get quick on-and-off convenience,).

I figured don't sell it keep it and use on the chopper.

I USED IT TWICE. It's just more fun without it. old school I guess.

I got one and use it on long trips and love it. Could care less what the others think . It only takes 2 minutes to put on and take off. They do make a difference at 65mph and up. Its your bike brother put what you want on it.
