Finally Decided.......

Sorry I haven't made any recent posts about this. I put the springer off for now. I had a Beach House I was looking at in Gulf Shores Ala. that finally the owner decided to accept my proposal. You would know, right after I had given the deposit to Bourget and the OK to build it, so I put it on hold. Spent to much on the house with purchase and landscaping for now. I will be calling Bourget soon to give the OK again. I can't wait!

Holly SHIT, springer finally comes in, after 4 months of waiting. Bring the dog to have it installed and the damn thing is wrong. Wouldn't have been bad if the color was a little closer but it was suppose to be chrome with ingraved flames in the large down tube powder coated in yellow to match the bike or as close as possible. The small down tube was yellow and the ingraved flames, except it looked like tweety bird yellow. Not even close match. They are sending another chrome small down tube when it is made and I am excepting the ingraved large tubes. The flames are kind of small so it isn't to bad. Being where I am still waiting, I had them get me a open primary and make a flamed cover for it. They said they will install everything the week after Christmas. Just not sure what Christmas they are talking about!!!!!! Hopefully, this one!:angry:

WOW , talk about suck, man I hope it is this Christmas for you since it has taken this long.

With things going this wrong, I would really inspect it well before handing them the rest of the $$$$$.
