Need Help Quick...Right Grip????

I just bought tribal grips for my 08 Ridgeback, left went on without problem, but the right grip wont fit well, seems too tight, wont roatate for brake use, what to do???? Im leavingin the morning for ROT in Austin!!!

Won't rotate for brake use???????
Did you put any powered grapite inside the throttle sleeve before installing and do you have the cable properly seated in the channels so they don't bind up??????

What?? Brake use? Lube everything. My throttle is touchy also when I remove the grip and re-install it. Everything has to be just right then it works fine. A little off, then it binds. Good luck.

Its the grip itself so tight, no clearance to
rotate. I'm going to grab some sandpaper....also the. Toe shifts has a small stud, I guess so the stock would not rotate....can they just be pulled out?

Big Dog tribal grips, the left was not a perfect fit but went on the right was basically forced on, I. Read the howto grip peg thread, all went well until the right grip would not slide onto bar..

Well I boought some emry cloth, but I think im just going to send the grips back, the right grip just doesnt fit at all, no point of me forcing it, just disappointed, especially when i waited so long to recieve them before the rally. I don't want to screw up my bike i just got it, just cant believe they dont fit.

Isn't there a plastic insert? Maybe that was in the one that's tight. Sometimes tight is good ...
