Total electrical failure, broken battery terminal

So if I'm understanding you correctly, everything you've listed is coming on by itself whether key is in and on with battery connected and only the green starter wire disconnected and "NO" cranking on it's own. Same thing with key out of ignition.
I'm I correct so far?
If I'm correct it's not sounding good so far, but we'll see.
Is that the orig. EHC?
What is the part # on the EHC?
What color material was used to fill the EHC?
Solid or soft fill material?

Look at it this way.
1) Your bike went down. - BAD
2) You WON POTM - GOOD
3) Your buddies bike went down - BAD

Something GOOD is bound too be next on the horizon for you Moe! :)

Keep your head up, we'll figure it out! :2thumbs:

It looks to me like as soon as you apply 12v to the EHC, it is sending a signal to turn on EVERYTHING, except the speedo, which is running through a relay that may have failed. So I can't see how anything else could cause a problem like this? I had the owner get in touch with Jake for a WP module.

That's what I was going to suggest, because it doesn't sound too good. He'll need to tell Jake if he's going to keep the orig. hand controls. Also I suggest that you lower the battery tray so the seat won't interfere with the terminals while your installing the WP! It seems to me I remember reading a thread here somewhere about doing the battery tray lowering.

Good Luck! :2thumbs:
