The guy in Germany seen it on Trader Online for sale. He flew in to Fort Myers and my buddy picked him up. He paid cash, strapped his suitcase on, put his laptop in his backpack and rode off to miami to load it in a crate with 2-3 others he was picking up to take back to Germany !!!

Economy must be better over there!!! He wants more Big Dogs as well to buy!!!

... because in Europe everything is more expensive, just to see ... a set of motorcycle fw ctrls that here is EUR 450-600 ($600-800) in US is $250-400, don't say nothing about those fine custom parts, a simple custom raked fork for my Intruder costs here EUR 1500-2000, in US I can get the hole thing (even springer one) for less than $1000 including the complete wheel ... no custom fees ...

I can trade my 11 1/2 years Intruder for almost $6-7 k, no joke about that

with all shipping costs (up to 500), custom fees (15%) and VAT (16 or 19%) the bike will cost him $20 k and because you can't get a decent low miles Harley Softail under $12-13 k even it is 8-10 years old, newer ones more ... a new Street Bob for example is more than $21 k

so this nice low miles Big Dog will be sold probably in Germany at the price of a not chromed out new Street Bob or even much more

selling five of these per month at 3-5 k profit and that's it ... nice ... clever

one guy here is asking $35 k for his rigid 2005 or 2007 Ironhorse chopper, not new, 10 k miles for sure ... he said from OCC :rant: ... he said he paid $70 k for it ...:lol: ... on eBay motors a similar one seems to be not more than $15k

one of my friends bring Hummers, Mustangs and other icon american made cars to Romania (not quite a rich country) weekly ... here are a lot a people who doesn't know what to do with their money, poor people also ... a lot of my friends think I'm rich and lucky to have such a nice bike as my Intruder ... it is only a dream for most of them ... but I'll work hard to get one K-9 for myself ...

maybe someone there is ready to start a business in EU, I'm ready to give them my support as a partner :cheers: THINK ABOUT THAT I'm all ears, there are not many custom Choppers in Europe ... let's do it ...

but as soon as your friend is happy, the buyer/trader is happy and the final customer too ... life is good ... I hope I'll see this bike on the road here somewhere

the economy doesn't go very well in Germany also, I have a lot of business partners there, but they know what they want, they are Germans, they will survive, hats off
