I don't see anything but a website on education to prevent theft... what am I missing?

I used a GPS based system along with the alarm in one of my RX-8s but at the time I wasn't driving it every day (sometimes only twice a week) so the little extra draw on the battery ended up killing it and ruining it over time. I forget how much the draw was but considering how poor battery performance is on our bikes I wouldn't even consider that route. I've been considering looking into perimeter alarms and stuff though since our bikes don't even have a front wheel locking mechanism.

Hey Guys...Sorry about that. It was supposed to show LEO etching your serial #'s on various parts of your Scoots, so if and when it ever got stolen, parted out...etc, the bike or parts would be easily ID'ed. Purpose is to alert the thieves it's a marked Scooter and they would have allot of trouble getting rid of it and said parts. A LEO talked to me friday about this being used on cars, (four wheelers) by etchng the VIN on each and every piece of window glass to deter thieves and I asked him about motorcycles. They do this for free and keep all the #'s on file, just in case.!!! I apologize, I should have read the site better.

I had something similar done to my last new harley I bought that the dealer didn't charge me for. They just had about 8 foil stickers with my bikes serial # on them. They were really small and they placed them on the frame bottom, on the motor bottom, inside both fenders, wheels and a couple other places. Then they sent a registration out to the factory. And gave you a copy as well to give a police officer if your bike was stolen. The stickers stayed on even after 2-1/2 years and I sold it.
