Sissy bar on 03 chopper without using BDM kit

Hi Guys,
Has anybody done or know of a sissy bar kit that will fit an 03 chopper that doesnt cost $1000.00. Not to complain here, but the BDM kit for the 03 chopper is WAY OVER PRICED for what it is. I don't mind spending money, but thats way too much for a few pieces of metal.

None of the other bike years cost that much for the kit. why is that?

Plenty of options. I would look at the Daytec bar and mount in this link:

Would you know why the BDM kit is $700 more for the 03 and 04 compaired to all the other years.

Cause it requires new struts that the sissybar fits into. Even on my 05 I had to pay all that for the kit. It was 07 I think when they started fitting all bikes with the recievable struts.
But the Daytec kit will work well for you.
