Little help with the H.I.D. con. please

I put my new kit in from Low Down today,everything seemed to go fine.Then it happened-the ehc seems to want to lock up on high beam.The original bulb when replaced works fine.I haven't been able to get ahold of jake yet but I'm sure there's a solution!Can anybody chime in the answer?Ray-Chris-jake-??
Probably something simple.Probably help to say its a 06 mastiff.

Hey Chris-by locked up I mean default mode.Jake called me back,and I think I might have a clue to what is going on.The bike has sat for awhile(2weeks)and could have had a low charge ,this could have triggered a safty in the tranformer on the hid which in turn would have not let the low beam fire which then would have forced the EHC to deault to high beam mode.I will give it the bench test tommorow by testing the hid cov. with an outside source(12v.) Apparently the EHC sometimes doesn't see the lesser amp. draw and will default even if the kit is working correctly.Idont know -I hope this doesn't turn into one of those FUCKING EHC issuses.I did put the original bulb back in and things worked fine.Soooo-we'll see.

I put mine in without a problem my bike sat for a couple of the winter months before. I had my batt. on a tender i hope thats all it is... Good luck with it

May have been a defective igniter on the ballast. It didn't test good off the bike. I sent him a new one, we'll know in a day or two if that cured the issue.

I very highly doubt it. It is the smallest Digital Ballast on the market and it barely fits in the 5.75". Never tried.
