06 k-9 starter

My friend has an 06-k9. he hit the starter button wont start hold it in after a few secs it starts and its good all day till the next day same thing. on his 2nd starter. keep it on a tender when not using.:job:

I have an 06 K9 that is always on the tender but sometimes I had the same symptom where the enginge seems to get hung up from compression....here's the fix that worked for me......before I cold start the engine, I manually push both compression releases to make sure they are free moving....the rear cylinder release just seems a bit tight.....once I do that, the motor turns right over every time....hope this helps....

Not enough juice!!!! Either a bad cell in the battery or weak connections. Pull and clean the seloniod also just to be n the safe side.

If I'm reading this right-you have to hold the start button in and after a few seconds it will start. My 06 K9 did that when it was only a couple of months old-had to replace the circuit board in the grip housing. No more problems.
