hi, im new here, i have a 2007 big dog k9. i looked at the tech page and followed how to adjust the clutch, heres my problem:
1. i loosened clutch all the way then removed cap on tranny to get to nut and allen screw, now the 11/16th nut wont turn at all(counterclockwise) and the allen nut wont turn at all either, so instead of breaking anything i left it then went on to just adjusst the clutch cable
2. i tightend the bottom adjuster all the way down then tightened the nut on top of it.....took it for a ride and clutch lever feels tight with a good snap back and finding neutral is good now although the bike now slips 3rd and 4th gears when getting on it hard......
heres my question: what is the normal positioning for the adjusters on the clutch cable so i have a tight clutch but wont slip gears.....p.s. i didnt slip before i did this so im feeling i did this.
also the clutch now grabs way to low:bang: please explain in simplest terms and possibly with pics....thnx
