Those look bad ass but I wonder if you could get your bike inspected with them, its states that the two pro lites are not DOT approved b ut doesnt say about the led one, and how would you get you wires to keep from rubbing on a soft tail?

As for as inspection , they are not DOT approved. As far as wires in the fender you tape or silcone them down. Mine are silconed inside the fender and never had a problem. I check them over each year to be sure their stuck down good.

The lense is normally molded with the letters DOT when the product is DOT approved. It's easy to determine by any LEO if he wanted.

I would think that a inspection site would be state approved. They are probably pretty sharp. Most would never catch it. We don't have inspections in Michigan. When I lived in Texas I remember them making a big deal about a cracked tail lite. I had to replace the tail lite to pass the inspection.

If they catch it, id just go somewhere else.. Ive never been one to worry about shit like that. We dont have inspections here in oklahoma either, sometimes I wish that we did. Since we got rid of them, people dont haft to keep up on their cars.

I just installed the same type on my husky.....very cool. They are extremely bright. i bought mine from Radiantz, which I'm sure is who supplies this company with them. They are flexible and you can cut them every .6 inch.
i just heated them up with a hair dryer to make them extra pliable. They are just hold on with 3m double sided tape. i got the idea from.....Dog1. And he said they work great and hasn't had any problem with the lights coming loose. i had radiantz cut the rear ones in half so directly in the center is where my left and right are set. Very easy to wire them in.

I also installed them on the front, put them on the lower tree.

But as stated, these are not DOT approved. If you have to bring your bike through an inspection.........chances are they will not pass. I'm taking my chances on the road becuase there is no inspection needed in ND.
