Powder coating rims and hubs?

I got a few pieces in. Gloss Black and shiny. I am sure these pics will do no justice. I have not cleaned them up or anything. The finish is smooth as silk. I will post other pics later on. They are doing the rims again for whatever reason so I will post pics when I have them and everything is bolted up. At the moment I am cleaning up the hub ends to get of the powder coating. I looked at the rims and they coated the middle where the hubs mount up so when they redo them they will leave that area clear of powder coating.

I am in Detroit MI at the moment but before I flew up I bolted some of the stuff on the bike. Still working on it but not much longer I hope... I did the rear rim , hubs, rear pulley guard, front rim hubs and headlight which I have not got yet.

I am in Auburn Hills outside Detroit going to some Fanuc Robotic training until Thursday evening when I fly back to Tennessee. I am staying at the Staybridge Suites 2050 Featherstone Road. 3 of us came up so I do not have access to a vehicle but I am here anyway.
My number is 931-320-5124 and I am out of class after 4:30pm Tuesday and Wednesday and fly out Thursday evening. I went to the Moose Lodge for dinner last night and drank a couple for those I have yet to meet. Going to try some Italian restaurant called Lilly's or something like that tonight. What is the deal with the roads up here????
Not Detroit but De-rut City....

they are not too bad were I live.....if you were here on a weekend thing I would drive to see ya...but I work afternoon shift....so by time I get out of work ..its around 10:30pm
maybe we can get together this summer....oh and scoots looking good!:cheers:

I assume you're at the Fanuc Plant on Hamlin between Adams and Squirrel...

I'm just 8 miles north off Adams...

Unfortunately I'm catching up with an old friend that's in town tonight that I haven't seen in 19 years...

There is a cool little bar at Adams and Auborn that we used to frequent called Muldoon's? probably be crazy tonight with St. Patty's Day...

Let me know if your out and about tomorrow, I'll try to meet up to buy you a beer... I don't know of too many places to recommend, but there are a bunch of restaurants North on Squirrel.

Hope everyone survived St Patrick partying. We, us from work went to Lilli's for dinner and it was great. Thought they may not let me in due to jeans, T shirt and leather vest but they treated me like gold and after a 5 serving meal I was stuffed.
I understand time is short and I am in a middle of the week being here but I am drinking one for all of you guys anyway. This is a big spread out place to live.
If I do not meet anyone tonight I will make my way back up when I am on two wheels and I can go to where I need to be....Looks like a great place to visit when the weather is nice......
You guys rock up here...

I was up at Updyke and Walton all day (Chrysler training center)... could have met for lunch.. But noooooo i read this one a Day late..:rant: :angry: :bang:
