First ride this year

Hi Kids, Well I just could not take any more of this winter waiting . I spent a lot of polish time waiting for some 2 wheel fun. Well the temp got to 55 and I just had to go.
Not to much mod this past winter but I did get the clutch replaced under warranty . I had to test it as when it was done we had snow over my boots.
So as for the ride all went great just a little on the cool ( COLD ) side. The clutch preformed perfect shifted smooth in all gears. THANK YOU Rochester Thunder.
BUT as before all works well except the SPEEDO it does the key sweep and that is all. I get no MPH or add miles. The dog has been on the tender . I will be getting a new battery just waiting for new stock. I think this will fix this intermittent problem.
As for that ride WOW I miss that . Went for a beer put on a few miles. Now I cant wait for Tee shirt weather :choppersmiley:

After April 24 we should get together and ride your fairly close as well as Mad Dog. Dingo suggested a New York Dog run which I think should happen when it warms up a bit more. >>>>>>>>>>:2thumbs: :2thumbs:

I live in a small neigborhood 3 miles from a small town, drove in to town to pick up some building supplies,counted 7 bikes in those miles,just saying the supplies was stacked for another day. My little proper got a few miles on it. 70s forcast the rest of the week :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

It is nice to get out. I have ridden a few days so far this year. Pretty much every chance I get, I hop on it for a at least a 25-30 mile short ride.

If you haven't had the new software upgrade flashed into your EHC, have your dealer do it - that may cure the problem. After the upgrade, you should see it sweep twice - once before the motor starts, and once just after. Also, be sure to keep the voltage up with a battery tender, as that will aggravate the problem.

P8RIOT thanks, they said I was updated BUT just like my invoice from the work done said they put the rubber grommets in the side covers and this was not done and I see a crack starting on one tab. I will be going for the battery soon Gona try for warranty too.

scott, you will know if your speedo was upgraded cause if it has been your speedo will sweep once when you turn the key on and then AGAIN after the bike starts.

I got that Ray thanks , only one sweep on the speedo . the longer I go the more I question the dealer for quality .It kinda hard while on warranty Sometimes they are great on others, WELL? I do my own work but some things are left to the dealer such as recall and or programing . We all will get it rite at some point. Just don't want to lose any ride time if possible. my small fixes should not take much time. other than that the Dawg keep me happy.
