Changing handlebars on 2009 RoadGlide

I just bought a new roadglide to go alone with my K-9.. I am going to change handlebars . Does anyone know how hard it is to change them with the new throttle grip sensor???How do you do it??

No problem, plenty of mfg. have came out with wire extension harness for the throttle by wire system. I have seen carlini for sure and I'm sure many others have already.

Just a tidbit. a buddy of mine bought a 08 Screamin eagle ultra. He had it 2 weeks and the throttle side grip was coming off. He called the dealer to inform them and they told him not to try and force it back on. Bring it back and they would fix it. There is a relay, sensor or some electrical component in the throttle sleeve that if it gets damaged, is a $300.00 part. I'm not an expert on this just passing the info along. If someone instructs you on how to change them, keep this sensor in mind. :up:

didn't one of our guys get all fuckered up because of one of those tbw's? At a stop started to take off and the thing went ape shit and f'ed him and his gal up real good. Be carefull. If you gots the beans I would have some one do it.

You are probably thinking of emcclary and he was seriously injured due to a clutch problem.....back from the brink
