Torque /reversion cones

Has anyone used these toque/reversion cones? I installed some fourbidden pipes and my bike decel pops when you let off of the throtle. Carb has been jetted and set. Just curious if these would help or hurt the situation. I do not want to choke the motor down.

I use a set because I run very short pipes, and yes they do help to tune out some of the popping on decel. For the price, I'd just get them, they can be had on egay for like $20.

I ordered some from Eastern Performance here in MD, got them on sale for $14.00 and free shipping. Moespeed was it you asking about a bike rally in NC? If so give me some info. Sgt Fury and myself are looking for a couple of good rides. We will be @ Delmarva. Maybe we could hook up for a ride. How far are you from Calvert County MD?

hey does anyone of these know if these will work for additional back pressure? I installed a new set of pipes that doesnt allow for baffles and I know I lost some bottom end due to back pressure. Just currious, thanks.

I wish I had more money.
I think the washer trick would work just as well. There are a few guys running thoem here too with good success. I am going out on a linb here and say that they are a bit cheaper as well.

I had them on mine for a little while...

No improvement in torque - lost ponies...

Upgraded my air intake from stock with a K&N, to a high performance Gates and all was well...

I have a set of torque cones and they didn't do shit. I noticed no difference at all, worthless in my opinion!

Everyone has an opinion on these things. I always heard they weren't for large motors.

But here is the opinion of a company that knows a thing or two about exhaust.
RB Racing LSR 2-1 Exhaust Technology
Torque Cones are most often found hiding in some "master builder's" wazoo custom pipes. Usually full of soot due to poor fuel control they are an attempt to get the carb to work with the outsized, swoopy fat front primary tubes, usually big radius copies of somebody's work. These kill power and should be thrown away if you put a decent exhaust system on the engine. Too much TV.
