no it's on the side.
but it sticks out too far . i'm looking for one that is mounted by the primary in a curve shape behind the primary

I've seen ones that replace your derby cover with a new one that has the mount built onto it, it is a curved plate. I'm pretty sure its got a taillight on it though. Is that what your looking for?
