What does a good candy paint job cost these days???

Energy One
Hey bro's trying to not let paint job factor my decision too much on buying a bike since I could alway re-paint it. But what does it cost to completely re-paint a dog say a Pit, Bulldog or Mastiff? The paint job that comes to mind would be like a super high gloss candy light green or something with like some real faint ghost flames or ghost sculls or something. What am I looking to spend on something like that? Just a ballpark..Thanks

yeah I pretty much got my question answered that it would be a lot easier to find a bike with a black frame already and if I wasn't feeling the design just go all black with like candy green flames rather than pulling the full bike apart and painting the frame green...

That idea was for your tins not the frame. Check out doug g's bike it started out as a black bike, mine also started out as a plain orange. If you had to pay someone to tear you bike down to do the frame, a basic paint job will be pricey.

A black frame gives you a lot of options on the tins but I think it does take away from a custom bike if the frame doesn't match. But my bike is black anyway.
If you do all the tear down and reassembly you can save some big cash and make other custom mods as you go:hi:

If he is like anyone else on here he will be be spending the same amount of money...the money he would save would now go to the mods ( i know thats what I would do):whoop:

the short answer is you can spend as much as you want. a paint job is just like any other part on the bike, quality comes at a price. Me personally, I like my bikes as I like my women, bare naked and covered in WD40
