I also need some mirror adaptors, alhall I just went to the Wicked image website and could not find the adaptors.

I would call them I guess. They made the ones I had and I remember bitching about the $27.00 they charged for them. I bought mine in 05 and they were sold as big dog adaptors.

$27.00 wow, but they look a hundred times better than the round ones.

I just spoke with Wicked Image about the square spacers. They are not making them now, But are willing to get them going again. I Spoke to him about this thread and he has seen the need so he figures about 4 weeks he should have something for us. He also has some cool stuff in line for the linkage that will clean up the way the ball ends are attached. Great people to talk to and very helpful. Also the price was going to be in line with the Big Dog Adapters. :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

This is Arin at Wicked Image and I just spoke to SeaVee about the problem w/ the round adaptors, we are going to machine and finish an adaptor that will be round to fit in the counter sunk hole of the hand control but then square at the top to match the American made billet mirrors we manufacture, if there are any questions or comments feel free to let me know

Welcome aboard and keep us posted on the production of the adapters. I have a set of your mirrors and the square adapter would really make them look right. Love the mirrors by the way....good quality

Me too, it'd be a trial and error type thing to me, I brought them into work and am drawing them up. If I ever have the free time to make them is the other story.:spank:

I had a nice Mazak 4 axis horizontal with a pallet changer that I bought off my old shop. I was able to keep it for a small monthly fee at a friends shop until he went belly up. It wouldn't fit in my polebarn so I sold it. I have access to a friends shop as well but just don't have the time to get over there. My current job also doesn't give me any time to go over to the maintenance crib and do "government" jobs like the old days.

That's f'n sweet, to bad you couldn't keep it, we have a 3+2 axis, but I have never programmed it. I could, but this guy guards it pretty closely.... what do you use to program your shit?

I fought Mazaks and there "Mazatrol" for many years until I was forced to learn one. Once I learned that conversational control I never wanted to another G code machine again. I can program any 2d shape or form faster than any mastercam or other software program out there. I used to have guys that ran the edm's or the cnc jig grinders come up to me and give them there points using the mazatrol. You can program them offline line as well but the only software that I know of is called griffo brothers that has the patent on mazak conversational controls.
