Love the dirty gas explanation... why is it that my car never gets any dirty gas? Im having a similar issue with my bike it seems... would have liked to have seen the petcock screen. Wonder if maybe the tank liner has something to do with it.

It is worth it to check it out.... 10 minutes job! :2thumbs:

Also, drop the Bowl Plug and check the fuel coming out of the Carb.... 5 more minutes.

BTW, yours is an 08.... I don´t think these later models had any issues with the tank liner.... someone correct me if I am wrong.

And just for peace of mind..... drain all the fuel out and fill it up with fresh one.

Smitty, you better tell us as long as you've been on here that you are NOT using that enrichener to start your bike are you?

Shame shame That could cause the symtoms you are referring to or better worded blowing out the fouled crud!!!

That's that shell gasoline all the way from Saudi Arabia probably smell some camel shit in there too :roll:
