Well, I gave into peer pressure.........ordered and on the way.
I think you will like them! oh, and if you don't know how to pull the headlamp out to replace the bulb....look at Gasman's "how to replace headlight and bulb"....step by step process.....pretty cut and dry. let us know what you think when you get the bulb in....

I've been looking at these bulbs and found that they make 2 types. One is listed as an anti-vibration for scooters, so my question to you guys that bought the 2 pack for $64 is, are they the anti-vibration style?

I don't believe the two pack is the "anti-vibration" but I don't think anybody has had any problems with them either. I ordered the single anti-vibration model from Vickie so I guess we'll see if there really is any difference.

I never thought much of the MC specific bulbs...

I have ran "car" headlights in my bikes for years.

I don't think they are the anti vib. but I have put over 600 miles on the bike with the PIAA bulb in and I have not had any problems. I bought the 2 pack because it was cheaper to buy 2 bulbs than pay $45.00 for 1 bulb. For $19.00 more you get a second one for a spare. I will let you know if I have any problems in the future....but as long as you have the lamp in tight with the lock ring....there shouldn't be any vibration that would effect the bulb...being that there is a rubber flat seal behind the lamp.:flag: If you look at Gas Man's how to replace your head light housing and bulb...he has pics that show what the inside of the head light bucket looks like.....and shows how everything goes back together.

Yeah for me it was just a matter of finacials. It was a better deal this way. Further, if a bulb does go out... it will only be the filiment you're on. So if the low goes out you'll still have the highbeam

OK I decided I wanted a different look headlight since I put the springer on and I decided on this pan light from alloy art. Let me tell you this is a solid pc. of chrome billet.

i just replaced my headlight and housing with the headwinds 5 3/4 vampire black dot tri bar so far this thing is blinding. I will post the pics once the bike is in one piece again. Love this sick ass pointed light.
