STATEMENT TO PUT ON OPEN PRIMARY

I just purchased a 4 inch open primary from KARATA for my 06 k-9, I guess you could say my Christmas present to me. I got the outer bearing support with a plain cover ( part # 16126BD) and the front guard. By the way Jim at Karata was great and a lot of help. I picked what I wanted but he gave me the idea to engrave something to personalize it to the bike & me, also I wanted the front guard which he said was nice so you can rest your leg, all great ideas and help. When I went into his shop it was like a child in a candy store, and I was having a hard time making up my mind. Which brings me to my point, I would like some ideas of maybe what to engrave, so far I have thought of, BEST DOG, MAN'S BEST FRIEND, BRUCE'S DOG, THE DOG, BIGGEST DOG, no it does no have to have dog in title, I like most of these but no one pops out at me, so I am looking for any suggestions. thanks in advance. also if you no any good engraver, laser cutter etc. to do the work that would help too. Jim gave me a really good deal, cash talks, alittle below the discount he normally gives, which would put it around 3000 I picked up, christmas season etc.

ok we now have, DOGGIE STYLE, THIS DOG BITES, BITE ME, BAD ASS, YOU SUCK, BEWARE OF DOG, JOY RIDE, SHOW ME YOUR TITS, still looking for more ideas - I am thinking about trying to design a plate that I can change out so I can have different sayings.

A different thought.....instead of lettering...

Have a design along with some freehand art work engraved - off set that with powdercoating - chrome. Something to match your paint work or a tattoo you may have or would like to have had....Also, continue that on the belt guard. On the belt guard - you may also "cut out" the design i.e. still have the belt guard but see the belt through the design...

Just a DIFFERENT thought...I like different....Either way with a "Karata" you win...Good luck and enjoy it.

Forgot to mention - If you haven't already done so, once complete or close to completion, send your seat out to Roger (beezachopa) who will etch the design into the seat giving a sense of continuity and completion....well worth it...
