To anyone interested in Cruise-Mate for Christmas, I am introducing a price cut effective Jan 1, 2009. Any forum members interested can take advantage of the price cut now:cheers: .

Due to increased volume of Big Dog Cruise-Mates (partly due to forum members here) I have been able to bring manufacturing costs down dramatically and am passing the savings on to the customer.

Originally Cruise-Mate for Big Dog was $84.95, effective Jan 1, 2009 the list price will be $65.95.

I am still offering 15% discount to forum members so your net cost for BDM Cruise-Mate will be $55.21 + $2.50 shipping:up:

As an added bonus for your service to our great country, I will also give Active Duty and Vets an additional 10% off so your final cost will be $49.69 plus $2.50 shipping :flag: .

As much as I'd like to trust the honesty of all mankind, I am not that naive, so any suggestions at to how to verify military status of forum members would be appreciated.

Nice! Guys, if you're on the fence GET OFF! Tell the wife, the kids, whoever, this is a MUST HAVE!! Rick and I did 2800 miles in June after just having installed ours....those long Utah straights are no problemo with one!

if a member is gonna lie about their military status they'd have more problems then you loosing 10 bucks!

I'm a vet and I can't think of an easy way of verification. I really really do appreciate the offer and sentiment, but I vote to just give all BDB members an extra 1% discount and call it a day...

I'm with MARV -- we have people on the forum that will ride cross country to kick people's ass, so this should not be a problem. :spank:

Besides, there's a long ass thread here on the Forum bout people being vets--I can vouch for many of them.

Just got my rebate check too......TOO Damn Funny!!!:up:

Seriously, this is the best and easiest mod to the throttle area -- now even cheaper. I use it daily just to warm up the bike, now I don't have to hang onto the throttle of F with the idle screw.
