NGK BPR5ES vs HD 5R6APP

My 01 107ci originally had Harley 5R6APP plugs. The NGK site says to use BPR5ES. The HD plugs have a slightly longer reach. What will the effects be of using a shorter plug. Is either more prone to fouling?

I guess using a shorter reach plug won't do damage but may not run properly - that is assuming the HD plugs you had in there were the right length. Use the plugs that are recommended.

I just installed a set of the NGK BPR5ES-11 plugs in my 2003 107 motor, seems ok. I have been running the stock Champion RN12YC.

When I was younger, there were only a few spark plugs to choose from (Champion AC Delco, Autolite). I have always stuck with Champions for older cars mostly from habit (and price!).
