You need to get rid of the TP rocker boxes,as they really don't play well with the S&S heads.You need to check your valve guides for major 1 side wear.
IMO,I would use S&S roller rockers(you probably have them) at stock ratio,1.62,especially with your Woods cam.

hey cutter. you talked about a air cleaner with a 1" backing plate made a huge difference over the stock with K&N. did you have a different air cleaner over stock? and where is the 1" spacer?

I changed to a Gates Performance Air Cleaner...

Wish I had pics, but before I switched my air cleaner, I took some tin snips...

Slit the front cover equally 4 times to within 3/8" of the edge where meets the main cover...
grind some rads on the corners...
then curled up the corners...

I thought it looked pretty good, and increased the air flow around the filter better than the louvered ones...

10 minute - Free - Mod - and if you dont like it, go with the louvered or screen...

just for interest here is the email I got from Art at R&R cycles on the rocker arms

"Hey Lee,

Our rocker arms will fit in the s&s boxes up to a 700 lift,they come with bushings installed
so all you would need to replace is the shafts if they look worn.
I would stay with the 1.625 rocker arm the 1.725 will give you a lift close to 710 and I would recommend removing the heads and setting them up for the higher lift as well as checking valve to valve and piston clearance.

The price can vary weather you buy used or new. I've seen new at well over $600 for the set. If you buy a set you need to make sure that you get the exact part number for application. Some have different breather set up based on what it was originally designed for.

But if yours aren't broken there may be no need to change. Raywood has almost 60,000 miles on his 05 with the TP boxes.:eek:
