I'm in Canada and our insurance is controlled by the provincial government. There is no competitive rates. I'm paying $2317 for a year on a 07 K9.
Does the government kiss you as well? Wow..::eek:

Harley Davidson Ins.. Which is actually progressive...Rates really depend on age, driving record, credit rating believe it or not, etc: 7 bills oan some change for the Dog and the Harley full coverage.

I have State Farm.......I just lowered my premium from about $500 to around $350/yr, by upping the deductible from 1000 to 2000. I have full coverage with under insured motorists. It helps to have your multi-vehicles and home owners tied together. I'm only putting about a 2000 miles a yr on it so the higher deductible is worth the risk.

Insurance in Tx runs a bit higher than in many other states...
Paying about $1250.00 a year full coverage on my dog with Geico. I am not sure if State Farm will write a policy in Texas on our dogs...I know previously they would not.

Beware of progressive...if you get in an accident, they do not want to pay for shit! Every shop I know of flinches when a progressive car comes in, because they know they are gunna have a fight on their hands to get the insurance company to pay for fixing it properly.
I had quite the opposite happen with my progressive claim. I upgraded on every single replacement part and progressive did not even flinch. They told the repair facility that since they did not really have standard pricing for many of the custom items on my bike just to go ahead and make the customer happy (me) and replace with whatever items I wanted. I'm paying $636 a year with $100 ded,100/300 comp. and agreed value replacement cost @ 45,000 with my appraisal.

I am in Florida and always used State Farm up in Michigan because it was the cheapest.

When I moved to Florida, Geico was cheaper and just shy of $1000 a year with
100/300 and $250 deduct.

Just switched from Progressive- $730 per year to Allstate where I have my home and cars - new rate $321/year - more coverage than Progressive. I couldn't believe it because I called a year ago and it was $800. But I have the policy and checked to make sure there were no gotcha's.

I have a perfect driving record. I use Geico 1200 a year. I guess it has to do with the fact I live in florida. I see all these guys with geico with ridiculously low rates. I don't kow. I do have alot of coverage 100/300, but to reduce it was only saving like 90 a year so I said keep it the same. Maybe I should check State farm out again. it's been along time.
These company's consider much more than driving record. Age, credit rating, market, vehicle, etc. Also, 100/300 isn't considered alot these days.

Thanks for the quotes. Damn, some your insurance policies are really cheap!!! I feel sorry for the guy in Canada. I going to shop around today or tomorrow. I need to check my driving record. I'm either clean or have a small accident from a fender bender with a company car this summer. Never got a ticket for it but I'm not sure if it is on my record. Well I just called Geico and they are 826. I'm going to call some other places.

My bike was first written as a Sport bike and the price was near a $1000/yr. It is now listed as a Cruiser and is now less than half that. It makes a difference!

In over 32 years of driving and paying insurance premiums I've never made a claim so I hate the idea of having to make insurance payments. I had my Mastiff covered with Progressive and when I bought the K9 last week the wife started calling around and found Geico was much less with the exact same 100/300 policy I had with Progressive. We gave Progressive a chance to lower my premium but their "lower" rate was still $80/yr more than Geico's first price. So, Geico has my business. That is, until we find something cheaper.
