Insurance companies for Big dog

Hey guys does anyone know the best deal from an insurance company to insure the a big dog? I just bought a New K-9 and should be getting it in about two weeks. I use Geico for my R1 so I am going to get a quote from them. Progressive and Dairyland also pretty much specialize in motorcycle insurance. Does anyone know of any other companies I should check? If you tell me who you are using and don't mind saying what you are paying that would be great. Oh, if you do tell me how much your paying let me know if that is full coverage or just liability? I am looking for full coverage.

Thanks

Jason

State Farm has been beating the "motorcycle specialists" by a huge margin here lately. I had everything with Geico but a co-worker talked me into checking with State Farm and I wound up moving everything to them. They were lower on all my bikes combined than I was paying on the most expensive one with Geico.

Formost insurance. The HD shop and most of the guys I ride with recommend them with the deals they give.

I have Progressive.. I pay around $800 year..

If i go to State Farm I needed to change my home to them and the autos to get a good deal... So i just did the progressive thing..

I personally never heard of insurance, so cheap for a Dog...

State Farm her in GA. I got a quote from Gieco and they were 30% higher that State Farm. My advice would be to shop around and and look for a total package on all your insurance needs, that will give you some leverage.

I'm in Canada and our insurance is controlled by the provincial government. There is no competitive rates. I'm paying $2317 for a year on a 07 K9.

Yup, but mine was insured on Blue Book Value/Bank loan value of an 02 Prosport. Somewhere between $13 & $16900.

Home owners, car, bike and 4 life insur policies through them as well.

Still should not be double what I am paying if I bought a new one. At least I don't think so.

Either way, it would be worth checking out.

I have a perfect driving record. I use Geico 1200 a year. I guess it has to do with the fact I live in florida. I see all these guys with geico with ridiculously low rates. I don't kow. I do have alot of coverage 100/300, but to reduce it was only saving like 90 a year so I said keep it the same. Maybe I should check State farm out again. it's been along time.

Insurance in Tx runs a bit higher than in many other states...
Paying about $1250.00 a year full coverage on my dog with Geico. I am not sure if State Farm will write a policy in Texas on our dogs...I know previously they would not.

Beware of progressive...if you get in an accident, they do not want to pay for shit! Every shop I know of flinches when a progressive car comes in, because they know they are gunna have a fight on their hands to get the insurance company to pay for fixing it properly.
