Well as some of you may have seen or can tell by the name, FNG here!! I have read through most of the post and see there is a very diverse group of BDM believers here. I am expecting this question to bring many different opinions, but here it goes. I want a K-9 or Ridgeback. Which would ya'll prefer. I am 28 and feel I could handle the ride of a rigid for a while, but really want the truth on how rough of a ride it really is. Hard to explain with words I know, but hoping to find the truth. I will be buying a bike soon. Looking at a badass rigid or a special edition k-9. Found number 30 of 100 for sale (that's my number), but the look of the rigid is hard to pass up. Fire away boys!!!!

go to a dealer and take a test ride on both of them. then decide which one YOU like best. nobody can tell you which one is best for you, only which one THEY like best. (get a K9)

I had the same questions as you when I joined. I said it would just be a bar and weekend bike. Boy was I wrong!!!!! I ride it every day to work which is a 60 mile round trip. Then get home grab the wife and off we go for a few hours. I test rode both and I am glad I went with the K9. Dont get me wrong the Ridgeback rode great for a rigid but "I" just wouldnt want to ride it everyday like the K9. Hope my input helps ya out.
