New K9

I just bought a new '08 K9 and I love it. It's Candy Red (like my Mastiff was) and I plan to get some custom airbrush work when I can find the "right" artist. And, the V&H 2-1 is ordered and on the way. Here's a couple of photos:

I also have a 2 up seat for my old 06 Mastiff. I paid $355 for it a year ago and I'll let it go for $250. PM me if you're interested.

Bike looks great... Shopping for right k-9 myself. going 2 up seating and really would like your feed back on V$H two in one exhaust. Limited imput I have received about exhaust has been very positive....You're new bike has EFI?

I'll have a new exhaust and 2up seat by this weekend and I'll let you know how the exhaust sounds and performs. My bike is a carb engine. I thought long and hard on the EFI and almost went with it but had enough guys recommend waiting a few years before buying an EFI model. We had a 2up on the Masitff and the wife says there's no comparison to a P-pad.

Rockman, I put my V&H BR 2-1 pipe on this afternoon and I couldn't like it more. I didn't want too much noise but the stock pipes just whisper too soft. The 2-1 is exactly what I wanted. It's got a low pitch growl to it and it wakes up when you open the throttle. It kind of reminds me of a big block chevy kind of sound. Anyway, my 2up seat is supposed to be for this weekend even though my wife rode on a pillion pad for over 200 miles on Sunday and she never complained. I bought an 18' sissy bar and the backrest was backordered. I also got some forward control extensions on the way. I'm 6'3" and the extra stretch will be comfortable. :up:

Hey Curdog-
Congrats on the new scooter. I was at Tonya's tent on Sunday of Biketoberfest and heard you were looking at the candy red K-9 with the chrome package and the faded skulls paint, trying to do a deal with Marc on the Mastiff.
I was in Tampa for business the other day, and stopped by the store. That bike was still there, and Tonya didn't know anything about the proposed deal. Now I know why.
