Shock Adjustment

Hey guys, I have an 04 Chopper DT. My question is....are the shocks adjustable on these bikes??? I would like to make it a bit stiffer for two-up riding.

I looked under there last year and didn't see anything obvious for pre-load, but I never looked in the manual. I also have bottomed out my swingarm here and there.

My 03 and 05 are not adjustable. I don't think they started putting on the adjustable shock till 06.

Gas Man, are yours adjustable on your 06?

I think his are Ray.......my K-9 is a 06 and I got the adjustables on mine....

Thanks guys. They didn't look like your normal type of adjustable shock, so I wasn't sure. Maybe I'll have to upgrade to an air ride.

Adjustable? Ride height maybe but I don't think for anything else such as ride comfort settings on my 07.

I think his are Ray.......my K-9 is a 06 and I got the adjustables on mine....

Thanks Dave, that's what I thought. They started putting on the adjustables in 06. This adjustment is only for dampening though if I remember right!! Not to be confused with the air adjustable shocks that have different adjustments.

Thanks Dave, that's what I thought. They started putting on the adjustables in 06. This adjustment is only for dampening though if I remember right!! Not to be confused with the air adjustable shocks that have different adjustments.

Man. No adjustment. That Sux! I wanted to adjust the shocks on my 03 Chopper as well for two up riding.

No adjustments on the 04 Mastiff. Installed adjustables, however stills shakes the hell out of me.
