These have served me well.....I'm toning-down with the Big Radius 2-1....mainly because these are a little too loud for me. Still have the baffles in. I paid extra for heat shields. No scratches, some blue under/around shields which will polish off but comes back after couple hours riding. Direct bolt-on for 03 Chopper or anything accepting standard Harley softail pipes.

$100 + shipping :2thumbs:

I also have a stock "black solo seat" and stock "mirrors" .......if anyone is interested.....make offer

Damn why didn't you want to sell these two weeks ago! These will not last long, if I hadn't just bought a set of daisy cutters, I would be all over these. Good luck to you bro.

Will these fit a RSD? If so I will take them off your hands. Let me know if you have paypal or prefer snail mail or whatever.

These are LSD (standard 86-06 HD Softail) mounting. Would require custom bracket, Bassani may have an answer. I'm just a guy cleaning out the garage of the couple extra parts lying around, not listed on e-bay and no paypal, just inter-BD club offer.

I am not sure of fabbing a bracket worthy of putting on the dog is within my skills. IF you can sell them to someone else go ahead. If you dont, then let me know.

Mtg. bracket goes on the frame....same two holes the stock pipes. My understanding pre 04. My is and 03 DT frame. New pipes were standard 86-06 softail Harley and mounted the exact same way.

Coach,

What does the bracket mount too?
You're right Old Hippy...........I am too OLD! I have a stock solo seat....actually shown in the picture....fits an 03-04 DT Chopper, looks new. I have the stock mirrors when they didn't require adapters. Look like truck mirrors but very effective. Just come on over and we can root around for anything you can use. I usually give shit away to my friends if I no longer have a use for it...and they usually return the favor. :):

Same mounting arrangement as this, same as stock set-up, and what Bassani does for standard softail models, and the 86-06 works on these frames.

The Bassani's found a good home at our local Big Dog Dealership.....in exchange for past and future favor's. I offered them up simply because I didn't want to see good usable parts go to waste, taking-up space and collecting dust.

OK NOW.....YA'LL SAID IT WAS NO GOOD WITHOUT PIC'S OF THE RESULTS....SO WHAT DO YOU THINK ? DID I DO GOOD :hi:

sorry scot......read post #11....they have a home.

ps.....they may have required a different bracket. Pittbull is a ridged right? These match-up with HD Softails 86-06. If you don't fit in that category you might have run into problems.

I think they sound great....beefy tone, but not over powering. The old pipes made my ears ring, or I'm just getting too old. Breaking glass and setting off car alarms use to be fun. Performance........I don't have enough miles to gauge. All the dyno tests and data on them show solid improvement. I can say it starts easier, idles and accelerates better. Baffles are removable. With the Bassani's, going down the freeway, you lean on it and feel as well as hear the acceleration. These just seem to pin you back w/o that feedback in your ears.

I'll take $100 if you pick-up shipping.....you'll need the bracket or add suction cups.....the new seat from Big Dog only had suction cups and I didn't want a useless screw and nut on the rear fender. Also I had to inform BD that this was a Daytec frame when I ordered the new seat.

What were you asking for the black stock seat?
