I think the "Bat Wing" may be a bit much. The bags are a great idea though. Never enough storage. Does anyone know if they will be designed for quick release? It would be nice to remove them for short rides.
It's 7:17Pm. Time for a beer!

I hope the fairing is a detachable unit so I can bolt one on my 07 Bulldog.....Hope they put jams in it too.......

Shown initially without a fairing, after many hours in wind tunnel testing, Big Dog is in the final design stages of a proprietary fairing that will include a Sirius satellite radio and iPod docking. The Bulldog will come complete with lockable hardbags, a rubber-mounted 117ci fuel injected S&S motor, Baker 6-speed transmission, floorboards, nitrogen gas Works shocks and a 5 gallon gas tank. The bike will also run on a 250mm rear tire with 21" rubber up front.

Wow,
They really are changing up here..Rubber mounted motor to boot. Perhaps this is to keep from shaking the life out of the stereo and fairing...

And to think I was looking for a more stripped down bike.

Baggers and fairings, windsheilds, floorboards, and radios, I think I just landed on the Geritol thread. shit, guess my idea of what a chop should be is out of touch with the rest of you. Hopefully the Coyote will be pure bike n motor.

We have several dealers on here, let us know what came out of the dealers meeting. :2thumbs:

it aint for me - don't like the bike in the pic at the top of the thread at all. Reading the description it sounds pretty good but I'm wondering if they're getting a bit close to the Electra Glides etc which I think they might struggle to compete with

I'll be interested to see what the final model looks like and more interested in the price. At this point I think the Big Bear GTX is better looking, but I'm hoping they are both competitive.

KnotSo,
I hear what you are saying in taste, but when it breaks down,I can listen to jams while I wait for some help.
Don't you ride in your geezer slippers too. I hope they make a slot to store my cane in too when I am riding. People are tired of me just swinging at everyone going down the road rambling on about the old days. And just to keep a old man mentality, I always drive with the left blinker on.....
Is the paint scheme going to be in Geritol Red you say???

You mean like drop tanks on a fighter jet? Jettison them just before the dog fight?? Whaddya got in mind there, Mad Dog? :D
If designed properly so it looks good with or without the bags it might be a great option for riders who want to ditch the bags for bar hoppin or put them on for the road trip. My Road King bags come off in less than 30 seconds. The only problem is it looks like shit without them. Just a thought.

Think it is a good idea if bags and fairing are detachable. It would be nice to get best of both worlds.
