That sucks.

The Friday of Labor Day weekend 2007 a guy has a chop saw kick back and cut his neck. Freak accident, bleed out on the jobsite. Single Dad who just got custody of his 7 year old son. That night me and my wife talked about when your numbers up, it up. The next day I bought my Big Dog.

Sorry to hear about that, I try to live every day like it's my last and pray for the best. You just never know when your numbers up.

sorry about the delay folks still shook up and lost internet last night. An ironworker on my job was 40 ft in the air tied off to a vertical beam with a horizontal hot bolted on. when they were flying in another horizontal in it struck the beam he was tied onto which caused it to move and sheared off the bolts holding everything together. it turned into a domino effect and he rode the beam that he was tied onto down but landed under the beam, I was 50 yards away in the structure and pretty much saw everything. so excuse me for this I had to say something, nothing but bad dreams last night. They shut the job down for the rest of the week . think i'll take a long ride :(

Toke and ride...!!!!

They shut the job down for the rest of the week . think i'll take a long ride :(

It's always a bad experience to witness an event such as you witnessed. I am in the railroad business and I have been called to numerous scenes over the years involving train/vehicle.....train/pedestrian collisions, and to say the least, the train always wins. I've also witnessed some VERY disturbing scenes, but as time passes by, it lessens the mental images of each and every event. Chill dude, take a ride, light up a bud, sip a suds, whatever it takes to relieve that horrifying image you have in your mind of that day.!!!

Healing will be swift..!!!

The lesson for all of us when something like this happens is - Enjoy life, kiss your kids every day and don't get pissed off at the small stuff!

RIDE IT HARD!!!
Take that long safe ride bearufus to help clear your head. I agree with marinecorpsmike, you need to be thankful for being able to get yourself out of bed each morning and able to enjoy another day with loved ones. It all ends in the blink of an eye so make the most out of each day you have in whatever way you see fit. Ride safe and enjoy what life you have left.
