Maybe a dumb question, but before I order one, Does the Big Dogs come with S & S heads? I know BD assembles them so wouldn't doubt it. I assume they do, but just have to ask...

Newbie dog owner sorry:spank:

Seein that your bike is a 07 it should have six bolts on the top rocker box cover. Six bolts are the S&S covers.:2thumbs:

How does this setup hold up with vibes. There is another thread on oil pressure guages where they kept leaking the oil due to engine vibes. Anyone have some mileage on this setup?

If I'm not mistaking it's the heat of the engine that is melting the filler plug on gauges that are liquid filled that is the major problem, and the vibration is killing the non-liquid filled. If I'm not mistaking. That is why this set up is a little more appealing to me.

I think you are 100% correct on that one CG. I remember that thread now.:2thumbs:

RIDE IT HARD!!!
:2thumbs: Nice set-up. I have it on mine. Swapped it over from my H-D Deuce so it will fit either motor. Nice liquid filled gauge to isolate vibrations. Have well over 20,000 miles between the two bikes.:2thumbs:

They make a mount for 4 bolt and 6 bolt rockers covers. I have the TP 4 bolt..

New Info: DS PtNo DS-245151 = Ness# 11-561 does NOT fit our heads (or Twinkies)...

Does ANYBODY have a source for JUST the Ness mounting bracket?

Ol' Harley bud gave me the guage, about the best looking setup I've seen. Been lurking, to hear if anyone else is using'em. Now just have to come up with the mount, housing, line and tee.

Yeah, I know, get ahold of Nelson...

Question is this set up made in USA? I ordered some Arlen mirrors a while back both sets made in China. They were junk ended up giving them away. Not on a mission or anything just curious:hi:

Is this the oil pressure gauge that fits the 6 bolt S&S heads?
Ness-Tech #15-666
Hmmm, Steel Dreams (WA) told me 15-666C was the part number for just the mounting plate. Yes, the plate does match my bolt pattern (and the Harleys too).

Now I'm AWP for the 2-hole adapter...

FINALLY got around to getting it all to gether. Runs good, looks good (to me at least). Used "stubby" version of the sending unit.

Being longer than the "standard" length rider, I put it on the forward pair of bolts, and I can actually see it while riding!

They call me Slow Vince for good reason...
